Cake Tastings with The Farmhouse Bakery
Curious about our flavors and looking to find the perfect combination for your big day? Our cake tastings are here to make the decision-making process as sweet as possible! Here’s everything you need to know about how our tastings work.
When Can I Order a Tasting Box?
We offer tasting boxes on prearranged dates announced on our social media platforms. These dates usually fall in January, March, and October, so keep an eye on our updates!
Please Note:
Tastings are not available during our peak wedding season from April to September.
What’s On the Menu?
Our tasting boxes include a selection of delicious cake flavours that highlight the quality and creativity of The Farmhouse Bakery. This year’s menu features:
Lemon, honey, and blueberry
Chocolate fudge
Vanilla, elderflower, and strawberry jam
Salted caramel and chocolate fudge
Almond, raspberry, and white chocolate
Pistachio and cherry
Coconut, lime, and white chocolate
Red velvet and raspberry jam
Belgian chocolate biscuit cake (additional fee applies for this flavor when included in wedding cakes)
Each box is a journey through our most loved flavour combinations, crafted with the finest ingredients to help you make your perfect choice.
How Do I Get My Tasting Box?
As of this year, our tastings are postal only, with free postage included. You can enjoy your tasting experience in the comfort of your own home, no matter where you are in Ireland! Unfortunately, we no longer offer collection or hand delivery for tasting boxes.
Important: Orders must be made in advance due to the time and care it takes to create each tasting box.
What About Consultations?
We do not include face-to-face or video consultations as part of our service. However, if you feel you need one, we’re happy to arrange a chat for an additional fee of €25 per half hour. This is a great option if you’d like to discuss your design in detail or need extra guidance.

Our tasting boxes are designed to give you a real sense of the quality and flavor variety we offer. Each box includes a curated selection of our most popular cake flavors, so you can find the one (or two!) that’s just right for your celebration.
Each slice is sized at approximately 1" x 2" x 3", making it enough for two people to share a taste of each flavour.
