1.3 The deposit is subtracted from the final invoice.
1.4 For bookings less than 4 weeks notice, the full amount is due at the time of booking.
1.5 All deposits must be paid within 48 hours of the invoice being sent, after this the invoice expires and a new enquiry must be made.
2. Final Payment
2.1 The final balance is due 4 weeks / 28 days before your wedding date.
2.2 If the balance is not paid within 48 hours of the due date, your booking may be cancelled, and the deposit will not be refunded.
2.3 Payments can be made in payment installments, a maximum of 3 installments can be made, the final installment 4 weeks before your wedding date.
3.Orders
3.1 We only take a certain number of wedding cake orders each week to ensure we can give each cake the love and attention to detail it deserves. Because of this we have a minimum spend of €230 for weddings, this does not include delivery and set up.
3.2 Our cake sizes are based on finger portions (1”x2”x3”). If you wish to serve your cake as your dessert instead of at cocktail hour or your evening reception you will need to choose a larger cake, the price will reflect this.
3.3 If you choose to decrease the size of your cake after booking, the original quoted amount will still apply. You may increase the size or add additional elements for an updated quote. This is also subject to availability.
3.4 Design discussions are held via email. We aim to finalise designs 4 weeks before the wedding.
4. Consultations and Tasters
We do not include face to face consultations or tastings as part of our service. If you feel you would like a face to face consultation please note we charge €25 per half hour which will be added to your cake bill. The majority of our consultations are via email. If you require video chat it is also subject to €25 per half hour.
4.1 As of March 2025 all tasters are now postal tasting boxes and are available for order 3 times per year.
4.2 Tasters cannot be made on request. They are made in bulk and posted to all couples who wish to order them.
4.3 Tasters cost €50 with free delivery and are only posted to Irish clients.
4.4 Tasters contain Gluten, Dairy, Eggs, Nuts. We do not cater for specific dietary needs or allergen-free cakes. All cakes are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens.
4.5 We are not liable for any allergic reactions.
4.6 We will send a digital sketch of your cake for your approval.
5. Collection/Delivery/Setup
See 5.8 for Clare Island weddings and collections.
5.1 It is our policy that we do not allow collection for our tiered cakes as we know how to deliver and set them up without anything happening to them. However if you are having a single tiered cake, you may collect it the day before your wedding, store it in the fridge overnight and set up yourself at the wedding venue. We are not liable for any damages that may occur if you opt for this option.
5.2 We deliver and set up wedding cakes at the venue. This includes arranging florals and toppers, provided they are supplied beforehand. Once the cake is delivered and set up, responsibility transfers to the venue staff.
5.3 Delivery charges include the time it takes to set up at the venue.
5.4 It is your responsibility to ensure you’ve given us the correct address for the venue, including eircode.
5.5 It is your responsibility to give us the correct details regarding where the cake will be displayed. Any stands that you’re supplying must be strong enough to hold your heavy cake. Any flowers your florist leaves must not be poisonous or they will be left to the side.
5.6 The cake display must not be in front of any radiator, windows where the sun will shine directly onto the cake or in a location where guests can easily knock over your cake.
5.7 As our cakes are decorated with swiss meringue buttercream or ganache, we prefer to deliver our cakes as late into the morning as possible. It is your responsibility to let us know what time you’re arriving at your reception. It is also your responsibility to inform your wedding coordinator that the cake must not be left in front of any radiators or sunny windows.
5.6 If your ceremony and reception are in the same venue and in the same room, we advise that we deliver the cake during the room changeover. This is so we can set up the cake and it does not need to be moved around by any staff at your venue. We are not responsible if any member of staff or guests moves the cake and it becomes damaged in any way, including falling.
5.7 We take a picture at the venue as proof that your cake has been delivered and set up perfectly. We will use this as proof of delivery if any damages occur after we’ve left the venue.
5.8 If your wedding is in Clare Island you are required to collect your cake the day before and bring it over in the ferry yourself. Please be mindful that the larger the cake the more difficult it is to transport. We are not liable for any damages due to the journey or transport to Clare Island. It is your responsibility to lease with us regarding ferry times and collection so that we meet you at the pier at the right time.
5.9 We reserve the right to cancel or postpone orders due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, severe illness). In such cases, we are not responsible to refund any monies paid. It is your responsibility to have the appropriate insurance to cover this eventuality.
6. Flowers and non edibles
6.1 We will add the flowers to your cake, rather than have your florist arrange them. This ensures we can make your flowers cake safe.
6.2 The cost of the flowers will be charged by your florist, and it is your responsibility to arrange that your florist leave them at the display table for us the morning of the wedding.
6.3 If you choose to use silk flowers for your cake we will source them and charge accordingly. Please be mindful that the starting rate for fresh or silk flowers sourced by us starts at €60.
6.4 All cakes are stacked with wooden or plastic dowels and cakeboards, internally, for stability. Most venues have experience in disassembling and serving multi tiered cakes. In the event that a guest or relative is serving the cake please let us know and we will leave a cutting guide for them.
7. Shelf Life
7.1 We recommend that our cakes are consumed within 3 days of the event. Leftover cake needs to be wrapped in cling film and stored in the fridge. Cakes can be frozen for up to 3 months.

13.2 Both parties agree not to post any negative information about the other arising out of the Contract or Event on any online forum or website without providing advance written notice of the intended content thereof, and providing the other party opportunity to resolve any issues between the parties amicably.
13.3 Wedding cake clients are sent a digital sketch of their wedding cake prior to the wedding. It is their responsibility to voice any changes they wish made before approval.
